The Cross and the Towers is a 53-minute documentary film about the workers in "ground zero" immediately following the attacks of September 11, 2001 in New York City. It was made in 2006 by Bessemer-based Erwin Brothers Motion Pictures.

The film grew out of an extended interview with Carl Keyes, a pastor who labored at the Trade Center site for over a year. The central theme is the discovery and impact of "God's House", a cavernous space half-buried in rubble in which four cross-shaped fragments of the tower's facade remained standing.

The film won the audience choice award for best documentary at the Palm Beach International Film Festival and will debut on national television on September 11, 2006 on the Trinity Broadcasting Network.
