The Fig

The Fig, originally The Fig Tree Café', was a neighborhood restaurant located at 3160 Cahaba Heights Road in Vestavia Hills. It occupied the rear portion of the Results Day Salon and was accessed by a wooden stair from a gravel parking lot behind the building. It was opened in 2014 by chef and caterer J. P. Holland.

In July 2024 Holland accepted a position as head chef and manager of Hillside Music & Que. The Fig hosted a closing dinner with guest chef Marlo Nash of Atlanta, Georgia on July 27.
