The Grocery Brewpub (GBP) is a restaurant, microbrewery and bar located in a former A & P grocery store at 2823 Central Avenue in Homewood. The bar includes 24 draft beer taps, including some house-made beers. The menu, prepared in a dedicated food truck, features a selection of fried seafood, sandwiches and burgers.

It was opened in 2019 by Rayford Cook, who previously operated the Off the Hook food truck. He acquired the Red Hills Brewing Company business along with the lease.

In early 2021 Cook opened a second, larger location at another former grocery and dry goods building at 2230 University Boulevard in Tuscaloosa. That business extended over three levels, with a 200-seat restaurant on the ground floor, a bourbon bar on the mezzanine, and a tap room on the upper floor with pool tables, dart boards, video golf, lounge seating and 44 beer taps. That location closed in June 2022.

Cook sold the original Homewood location to Peyton Walker in 2024 and purchased Ghost Train Brewing Co. Walker planned to emphasize the sports bar aspect of the business with a 12' x 6' LED wall, and also added a stage large enough for a full band.
