The Ursula Smith Co. is a dance training program and performance company founded in 2020 by Ursula Smith. The company is housed at the A. G. Gaston Building in Birmingham's Civil Rights District. The company stages an annual "Brown Sugar Nutcracker".

The Ursula Smith Co. was selected, along with Naughty But Nice Kettle Corn Co. and Pinsperation, to participate in MasterCard's "Priceless" campaign, supporting Black-owned creative businesses.

At the press conference announcing that award, Smith invited Mayor Randall Woodfin to take dance lessons at her studio. She sponsored a 2-minute video of him dancing with fellow student Kendra Morris at various locations around the city, which he shared to social media on the evening of his re-election on August 24.
