Not Alabama Power

  • Is the meeting place not the Alabama Power East Jefferson Service Center? --Dystopos 09:28, 30 November 2009 (PST)

The Society would prefer not to specifically mention the location of our facility in the article for security reasons. If a person is interested they may contact us through our website. Thanks for your help.

RPC

  • Thanks for adding the piece about the Radio Products Corporation. Definitely a valuable addition. I just wanted to mention that because our site uses a Creative Commons license, we'd need to be assured that the author of the text (George Bates) and the publisher (Radio Age) agree that it can be released under those terms. In any case, it's probably better for us to re-write it, preserving the factual information and dispensing with the dramatic flair. --Dystopos 15:36, 10 December 2009 (PST)

We will change the article as requested. I am a member of the Alabama Historical Radio Society (AHRS). The submission ws posted with the full permission of the president of the AHRS, Dave Cisco. George Bates is a member of the Society. His information was obtained from the achives of the AHRS
