Viva the Chef was a cooking classroom, café and store at 3147 Green Valley Road in Cahaba Heights. Opened by Russell Watts in 2005, it offered cooking classes for adults and children, summer day-camps, birthday parties, and corporate team-building programs. The programs were led by one of six chefs kept on staff. The kitchen, which made use of household appliances as much as possible, could accommodate up to 70.

Viva the Chef had a second location in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania.
