The Wood-Champion House was a historic home located at 709 81st Place South in South East Lake, near Ossie Ware Mitchell Middle School. It was constructed in 1908.

The home was most recently occupied by Tracey Muhammad, who moved in around 2001 and renovated it for his family of six. On March 19, 2011 he hosted a fish-fry fund-raiser in the back yard to raise money for his daughters to attend summer camp. Grease from the fryer caught the house on fire. Among the few things the family was able to save were their daughters' violins.
