The Yankees mural is a large painted mural on the south wall of the Wininger Law Firm's office. It was commissioned in 2012 by the building's owner, lifelong New York Yankees fan David Wininger.

Wininger and his wife, Peggy, interviewed 15 artists before selecting Stephen Smith to execute the 100-foot long mural, which faces a parking lot across 5th Avenue North from the Redmont Hotel. The mural depicts the old Yankee Stadium in the Bronx, populated by famed players Babe Ruth, Mickey Mantle, Lou Gehrig, Joe DiMaggio, Yogi Berra and Derek Jeter in their pinstriped uniforms.

The mural was approved by the Birmingham Design Review Committee in June 2012. The painting, begun in October, was completed in mid-November.

The mural was partially defaced by paintball guns on December 31, 2012, but Smith returned to repair the damage shortly afterward.
