Yesterday's Birmingham is a book chronicling the history of Birmingham through photographs. It was written by Auburn University history department chair Malcolm McMillan and published in 1975 by E. A. Seamann Publishing of Miami, Florida as part of their "Historic Cities Series".

The 208-page, 7" x 10 1/4" hardcover book originally sold for $12.95 and was distributed by Rich's and other retailers in Birmingham.

McMillan had previously edited the 1963 anthology The Alabama Confederate Reader and authored the 1968 Alabama history textbook The Land Called Alabama.
