Zelia Maynard Baugh

Zelia Maynard Baugh (born October 20, 1938 in Birmingham; died December 20, 2011 in Hoover) was a former draftsman, office assistant, and commissioner of softball for Hoover Parks & Recreation.

Zelia was the daughter of John R. Maynard Sr and Zelia Garth Maynard. She attended Shades Valley High School and the UAB School of Nursing. She worked as a drafter at Rust Engineering before leaving in 1965 to help her husband, Aubrey Baugh Jr, to establish his medical practice.

She left the office to raise their two children, Zelia Garth and Aubrey III.

Baugh died in 2011 and is buried at Elmwood Cemetery.
