Is-Able Ministries is a non-profit organization founded in 1998 by Lorenzo Brown which provides assistance to people with physical and mental disabilities. The organization offers independent living programs and support for caregivers. Its programs include goal-setting, self-advocacy, conflict resolution, and financial literacy, along with help finding employment or preparing for college or a career. The organization is also able to help meet material needs for prospective workers, such as providing clothes, meals, utility bills, transportation or equipment.

The Is-Able Center opened in 2017 in the Sain Centre at 244 West Valley Avenue as a home for the organization's community outreach. Brown leads weekly social development classes to help people with disabilities to build confidence in social situations.

Is-Able works with the Alabama Department of Rehabilitation Services and also with Birmingham City Schools' special education program. The group was awarded BOLD grants from the City of Birmingham in 2023 and 2024.
