The project was designed by [[David Baker Architects]] and incorporates local brick and corten steel as naturally weathering finishes. Other features of the design include rainwater cisterns and an option for solar power generation.

Investor [[Joe French]] acquired five of the units during pre-sales, helping the developers secure financing from [[ServisFirst Bank]]. [[Hancock Construction]] erected the building on the site of a former parking lot.
