"'''Know Your History'''" is a [[List of Birmingham murals|painted mural]] on the north side of the 1890 [[Spring Street Fire House]] at 408 [[41st Street South]] in [[Forest Park-South Avondale]]. It was painted in [[2017]] by Austin, Texas-based musician, music producer and artist Tim Kerr. The building now houses the non-profit [[Firehouse Community Arts Center]].

The mural includes depictions of [[Sun Ra]], [[Angela Davis]], [[Spider Martin]] and [[Fred Shuttlesworth]] in black outlines over washes of color. The mural's title appears at the bottom, along with Kerr's signature, "your name here", which also serves as an encouragement.
