'''Robert E. Morris''' (born c. [[1945]]) is an ocular surgeon at the [[Callahan Eye Foundation Hospital]] and an associate professor of opthalmology at the [[UAB School of Optometry]].

Morris earned his bachelor of science at Purdue University in Lafayette, Indiana in [[1967]] and graduated from the [[UAB School of Medicine|University of Alabama School of Medicine]] in [[1973]]. He completed his residency at the Eye Foundation Hospital in [[1976]] and continued his studies with fellowships in Köln, Germany and Miami, Florida. He joined the faculty of the Department of Opthalmology in [[1979]].

In August [[2009]] Morris performed reconstructive surgery on the injured eye of Indian field hockey goalie Baljit Singh.
