Southern Skin Divers Supply

Southern Skin Divers Supply is a diving outfitter and instruction school located at 4515 5th Avenue South in Avondale. It was founded in 1953 by Bill "Cap'n Scuba" Tant along with Bill Tant's School of Scuba.

After Tant's retirement in the 1980s, the business passed to his partner, Steve Phillips, and nephew, Mark Tant.

The shop's training center houses a 14-foot deep heated indoor pool.
