The Delta District of the Wesleyan Church was regional unit to which Wesleyan Church congregations in Birmingham belonged from the denomination’s creation in 1968 until 2000. It was initially named the Mid-Gulf District. It includes congregations in Louisiana, Mississippi, and Alabama. In 2000 district lines were redrawn and Alabama congregations joined Georgia congregations in the South Coastal District.
