* I think that's likely. As I understand it, traditionally, Jrs are named for their fathers and IIs are named for some other relative, but IIIs can be either the sons of Jrs or IIs or just the IIIrd in their family to carry the name. Then there are the ones that go by the same names as their fathers, but have a different middle name, so they aren't a Jr or a II.   • I think that's likely. As I understand it, traditionally, Jrs are named for their fathers and IIs are named for some other relative, but IIIs can be either the sons of Jrs or IIs or just the IIIrd in their family to carry the name. Then there are the ones that go by the same names as their fathers, but have a different middle name, so they aren't a Jr or a II.
