Lyn Spotswood (born December 21, 1946 in Meridian, Mississippi; died October 9, 1996 in Barton, Vermont) was a theater director and actress best known for founding the Southside Giant Puppet Workshop.
As a young woman, Spotswood was injured in a car accident, rendering her quadraplegic and bound to a wheelchair. She attended Ramsay High School, graduating in 1964. Her father was reported by a Ramsay classmate to be have been a journalist at the Birmingham News.
