41st Street North is the continuation of Avondale's main street north of the Norfolk Southern Railroad's AGS South District and East End District trackage and Village Creek, extending through North Avondale to Richard Arrington Jr Boulevard North (formerly 10th Avenue North).
Another section of 41st Street North begins at East Lake Boulevard north of Birmingham-Shuttlesworth International Airport and continues through Inglenook to just past 44th Avenue North. A small section reappears between 49th Court North and 50th Avenue North just south of the Tarrant city limit.
