Saulter Road Pocket Park is a small Homewood City Park being developed at South Wellington Road and Saulter Road in Homewood. The land is on the backside of the campus of Samford University adjacent to its emergency entrance near it Art Lofts building. It is being leased to the City of Homewood for a one-time payment of $10. There were previously two homes owned by Samford situated on the site.
The site plan was developed by Goodwyn Mills Cawood, a playground area is being included along with multiple trees to reforest the site. Construction began in late September 2023. The park should be complete by the end of 2023.
