Benedikt's Restaurant is located at 4125 Blount County Highway 27 in Highland Lake. The restaurant, opened since the 1980s, is owned by sisters Joice and Ruth Benedikt. The sisters formerly owned a restaurant in Yampertown (rural Marion County), and moved to the current location, between Springville and Oneonta on Straight Mountain, after the original restaurant was destroyed by a tornado.
