Ellen Simonton (born June 1, 1937) is an interior designer and business owner who lives and works in Birmingham. She was owner of the interior design firm Simonton & Associates.

Simonton's notable projects included the interiors for the headquarters of the Jemison Investment Company.

In the early 1990s, Simonton shocked her neighbors when she chose to paint the exterior of her Forest Park home in black, a choice that attracted widespread interest.
