Born 2 Read Children's Bookstore and Tutoring Facility was located at the Olde Towne Center off Montgomery Highway in Vestavia Hills. The store, owned by Nancy Putman offered tutoring, reading skills evaluations, teaching materials and classes for parents in addition to a full line of books for beginners to middle-schoolers.
The store opened January 4, 2006.
Putman later closed the book store to concentrate solely on tutoring and moved to 1500 Hamilton Lane, off Rocky Ridge Road, still in Vestavia Hills.
