Purpose
The purpose of this category is to create a "yearbook"-like gallery of portraits. To that end, I'm trying to leave out things like book-covers, baseball cards, CD covers or statuary that serve the purpose of portraits for some articles. I'm also omitting group portraits and action shots (unless they are so portrait-like as to fit well with the posed portraits). 3/4 or full-body portraits that are posed to serve the purpose, though they don't really fit the "yearbook" scheme, are acceptable since they perform the same function.
