Transgender Advocates Knowledgeable Empowering (T.A.K.E.) is a non-profit peer-support group for transgender women of color. It was founded in 2013 by Daroneshia Duncan-Boyd. The group operates a resource center at 7128 Oporto Madrid Boulevard in Brown Springs.
