Heardmont Park is a 74-acre public recreational park at 5458 Cahaba Valley Road which is owned and operated by the Shelby County Department of Facilities & General Services.

The park is the home of Heardmont Stadium, home of the Oak Mountain High School Eagles football, soccer, and track teams. It is also the home of Oak Mountain Youth Baseball & Softball with 7 baseball fields and 2 softball fields, and Birmingham United Soccer Association's South area with 3 soccer fields. Other recreational facilities include 4 lighted tennis courts, 2 pickleball courts, a playground, and walking trails. The stadium playing surface was converted from natural grass to artificial turf in 2023.

Heardmont Park houses the Mary Ellen Estes Senior Community Center, the Heardmont House conference rooms, the Hollis Rooks Pavilion, and the offices of the Shelby County Park and Recreation Authority.

The Shelby County Department of Environmental Services also operates a paper and cardboard recycling drop-off near the eastern entrance to the park.

The park site was acquired from the City of Hoover by Shelby County and the Shelby County Board of Education. The athletic leagues participated in the development of their respective facilities.
