1819 News is a media outlet operated as a wholly-owned subsidiary of the non-profit Alabama Policy Institute. It was founded in October 2021 and publishes an email newsletter, a website and a podcast providing news, sports, and political reporting from a conservative perspective along with conservative commentary.

Bryan Dawson is president and CEO, Ray Melick is editor-in-chief, and Erica Thomas is managing editor.
