Lake Purdy Dam

Lake Purdy Dam on the Little Cahaba River was built in 1929 by the Birmingham Water Works. The dam creates the 15,300 acre-feet Lake Purdy reservior at the confluence of the Little Cahaba and the Cahaba River.
