The 2014 Sidewalk Moving Picture Festival, held on August 22-24, 2014 was the 16th in the annual series. The opening night film at the Alabama Theatre was "All American High: Revisited", directed by Keva Rosenfeld. Other venues included the Carver Theater, the Red Mountain Theater Company's Cabaret Theater, the McWane Science Center's Rushton Theater, and the Alabama School of Fine Arts.
Juried winners included L for Leisure, winning the Jambor-Franklin Founder's Award for Best Narrative Feature, and The Hand That Feeds winning for best feature-length documentary.
Audience favorite awards went to It Is What It Is for best feature, and No No: A Dockumentary for best documentary.
