2020 Jefferson County municipal elections are scheduled to be held on August 25, 2020, with runoffs as needed held on October 4.

In April 2020 the executive committee of the Alabama League of Municipalities discussed whether to request that the Alabama State Legislature postpone municipal elections for a year due to the 2020 Coronavirus pandemic.
