2206 2nd Avenue North is a 5,148 square=foot, 2-story commercial building located on Block 83 at 2206 2nd Avenue North in downtown Birmingham.
The building was constructed of brick around 1902, and refaced with stucco in the 1920s. The art-deco styled upper facade features three tall double-hung windows separated by fluted pilasters, each marked with a circular louvered vent opening in the frieze above.
Gorman Jones and Jerry LaSuer purchased the building as a residence, turning the ground floor into a conservatory and guest suite.
