27th Avenue South (originally known as Pine Street) is a six-block (0.4-mile) long street in Homewood. The two-lane, east-west road runs from B. M. Montgomery Street in the west to Lynn Boulevard in the east, just past 19th Place. The road is divided into two sections, as it doesn't align at 18th Street South. At that intersection, the western section is a half-block south of the eastern section.
