The Alabama Negro League Association is an association made up of former Negro League baseball players and supporters. Its president is former Kansas City Monarch Jake Sanders.
Its Alabama Negro League Museum Foundation has plans to create a Negro Leagues Museum showcasing the history of the leagues and the contributions of players from Alabama. Clayton Sherrod chairs that foundation. The group has a pledge from Layton Revel of the Center for Negro League Baseball Research to house his extensive collection of memorabilia.
In April 2008 the group sponsored a reception at the Birmingham Civil Rights Institute for twelve of its members who are Negro Leagues veterans.
