The Alabaster Dairy Queen is a Dairy Queen franchise opened in 1960 by Roscoe Davis. Thomas Cairns bought it from him soon after, and it has been owned by Cairns' son Tad since 1974.

The store is notable for preparing its own fried chicken by hand. It moved from U. S. Highway 31 to the Colonial Promenade Alabaster in 2009.
