Alan Potts (born 1951 in Inglenook; died March 22, 2006 in Birmingham) was the former owner of Silvertron Café in Forest Park.

Potts graduated from Phillips High School. He opened Silvertron in 1986. On March 22, 2006 he was found dead of a gunshot wound in the kitchen of his restaurant. He is survived by his wife and two children.
