Andrew C. Pearson Jr was dean and rector of the Cathedral Church of the Advent from 2014 to 2021. The vestry of the Advent announced his resignation in late April 2021. It took effect on May 16, 2021. Later that week Pearson was received into the Anglican Church of North America and announced that he would be attending Saint Peter's Anglican Church until he started his own new congregation later in the year.
