The Apollo Club, later the Elite Opera Company, was an opera troupe founded in 1895 by E. E. Williams. At its start the club organized both vocal and orchestral performances, accompanied by Blanche DeLow and Dolly Dalrimple.
The troupe performed a series of light operas, including Martha, Bohemian Girl, Maritana, Pinafore, Mikado and The Haymakers at the Lakeview Park Pavilion. Hill Ferguson was the company's press agent.
