- 2005: Macon Knights 67 - Birmingham Steeldogs 50 at Macon, Georgia.
- 2001: Birmingham Steeldogs 39 - Louisville Fire 21 at Louisville, Kentucky.
- 1994: The JordanCruiser made its first team trip to Chattanooga and Carolina.
- 1981: An opening-night crowd of 9,185 saw the 1981 Birmingham Barons beat Jacksonville 6-5 in their return to Rickwood Field after a 5 year absence.
- 1929: McElwain Baptist Church dedicated their new sanctuary on Montevallo Road.
