Avenu Insights & Analytics, formerly Revenue Discovery Systems (RDS) or RDS-Alatax was a Birmingham-based company providing tax auditing and collection services to municipal and state governments. It was a wholly-owned division of the Norfolk, Virginia-based Portfolio Recovery Associates.

The company entered Birmingham in 2005 with an office at 2317 3rd Avenue North. RDS leased additional space at Beacon Ridge Tower at 600 Beacon Parkway West in 2011. They expanded their Birmingham operations in 2013 with a $200,000 incentive package from the City of Birmingham. They expected to add 200 positions with the expansion, bringing their local payroll to over 300 workers.

PRA absorbed RDS into its Avenu Insights & Analytics division. It closed the Birmingham Avenu office on September 30, 2021, laying off 133 workers.
