Baron (born May 25, 2011 at the Birmingham Zoo) is a male lion, one of a litter of five cubs born to Kwanzaa and Akili. The others are Asha, Kimba, Lily, and Vulcan.

A naming contest was held for the second of the two male cubs during the litter's Labor Day weekend premiere at the zoo. Baron was submitted by 7-year-old Joshua Bradley of Chelsea, who was announced as the winner on September 12, 2011.
