The Big Branch Bridge (later Lidy Walker Bridge) was a 50-foot long covered bridge built in 1926 over Big Branch, close to Mulberry Church east of Hanceville in Blount County.
Lidy Walker, proprietor of the Walker's Corner USA store on U. S. Highway 280 at Walker's Corner, purchased the bridge from the County in 1948 for $50 and moved it 14 miles to Lidy's Lake on her property off U. S. Highway 278 near Berlin, east of Cullman.
The bridge collapsed in early August 2001.
