BirminghamWatch is an online news publication published by the non-profit Alabama Initiative for Independent Journalism. The organization, founded in 2014 by Mark Kelly, Carol Nunnelley and Jerome Lanning, focuses on public-service reporting on government and politics to promote informed citizen engagement.
