The Birmingham Wildfire is a semi-professional football team that competes in the newly-established Southern Conference of the LaBelle Community Football League. The team president is former Warrior Wildfire owner Leslie Olive, who also serves as director of the Southern Conference. will play its home games at Legion Field, beginning with an exhibition double-header on June 6. Patti LaBelle, who founded the league in 2003 with business manager Damascene Pierre Paul, will perform the national anthem.
