Brookwood Medical Center Drive is an approximately half-mile east-west road in Homewood. It serves as the entrance to Brookwood Baptist Medical Center hospital complex as well as the Brookwood Metroplex office buildings. It is located mid-way up the northern slope of Shades Mountain.

Until the 1985 construction of the Jim Bennett Bridge, the western interchange with Independence Drive required hospital traffic coming from the north to cross oncoming south-bound lanes. Roads leading to Colonial Brookwood Village and the Metroplex intersect east of the hospital property, and the road ends in the east at the gated entrance to Royal Towers.
