Cara McClure is a real estate agent, and current organizer for the Black Lives Matter Movement Birmingham chapter.

McClure earned a degree in Business management and marketing from Jacksonville state university.

Cara McClure is the Owner and Leasing Manager at ASAP Apartment Locators in Birmingham, Al, where she helps to match tenants with luxary apartments. McClure was Featured in Prepaid Legal's Profiles of Success Publication. More recently Featured in Ardyss International's Faces Magazine.

After a break away from Black Lives matter Birmingham which was founded by Avee-Ashanti Shabazz. 

In 2015 Cara McClure, Shirah Robinson and Kahmille Burroughs led a group of mostly female activists in a break away from that organization, forming a new Magic City Chapter of Black Lives Matter which, unlike BLMB, sought to become an affiliate of the national Black Lives Matter Network.
