The Central Alabama Devil Dawgs are a minor-league football team that plays its games at the former Corner High School in north Jefferson County. The team was formed in 2010 as members of the Premier South Football League.

The team traces back to its neighbor and arch-rival, the Alabama Warriors. Jesse Reed, the head coach and part owner, played center for the Warriors. Offensive coordinator Todd Pelkey served in the same capacity for the Warriors, and several players moved from the Warriors to the Devil Dawgs for 2010. The team also rostered several players from the defunct Birmingham Wildfire. Notable players include former University of Alabama defensive standout Eryk Anders, who signed with the Dawgs after being cut from the Canadian Football League's Calgary Stampeders when that team exceeded its limit of non-Canadian players..

The team was originally called the Dora Devil Dawgs, with games to be played at Dora High School. When that arrangement fell through, the team moved its operations to Corner.

The Dawgs went through the 2010 regular season with a 7-3 record, including a pair of wins over the Warriors. They won their first-round PSFL playoff 13-6 over the Santa Rosa Ravens (Pace, Fla.), but lost in the semifinals to the Satsuma (Ala.) Sharks 14-6.
