The Charley Boswell Celebrity Golf Classic was an annual golf tournament hosted by Charley Boswell to benefit the Eye Foundation Hospital from 1974 to 1988.
The inaugural tournament was held at the Port Aquarius Golf Course in Talladega County. The annual event later made its way to the Charley Boswell Golf Course at Birmingham's Highland Park, and then to the Riverchase Country Club. Comedian Bob Hope was a fixture at the tournament, usually serving as honorary chairman.
The tournament raised over $1.7 million for the Eye Foundation Hospital and the Helen Keller Eye Research Foundation.
