Clarendon Avenue School was a Bessemer City Schools high school constructed in 1908 at 1224 Clarendon Avenue, adjacent to Roosevelt Park and Halls Creek. The school was expanded, along with the Roberts School, by Crotwell Brothers in 1910.
In 1970 the building was torn down for construction of a new James A. Davis Middle School, which relocated from its 1953 building.
