The College Theatre was a movie theater located at 7604 1st Avenue North in East Lake, across the street from the East Lake Theater in a business district then frequented by Howard College students.
The cinema was constructed in 1947. After Howard moved to Shades Valley in 1950 it went through several changes, eventually being converted into an adult theater, Cinema Blue, in 1971.
The building was purchased in December 2014 by Vince Amaro. He evicted the adult businesses and made plans to renovate the auditorium as a community performing arts center.
