The Comedy Club Stardome (originally The Comedy Club) is a nightclub and event center featuring performances by stand-up comedians at 1818 Data Drive in Hoover.

The club was opened by Bruce Ayers in 1983 in a 200-seat venue in a Chinese restaurant on U. S. Highway 31 in Homewood. In 1985 Ayers moved it to a larger space on Green Springs Highway. That venue was destroyed by fire on March 12, 1993.

In October of that year, Ayers opened the Comedy Club Stardome, a 420-seat theater with banquet facilities and other amenities, in Hoover. Ayers' wife, Che Che, and two daughters help run the business.
